he 2026 kicks off with the magical aromas of Bagna!
There’s exactly one month to go until the winter edition of Bagna Cauda Day. One month until the four days of Bagna della Merla. The perfect way to welcome the new year: sitting with friends, dipping Cardi Gobbi and seasonal vegetables into the Bagna, rediscovering beloved flavors and the warm conviviality that defines the most fragrant event of the year.
The list of participating venues will be released soon. In the meantime, best end-of-year wishes to all Bagna lovers.
The iconic dish of Piedmontese tradition lies at the heart of a gastronomic system that began with a hot sauce of garlic, oil, and anchovies—meant for dipping seasonal vegetables—and has grown into a true pillar of convivial culture.
All participating venues are listed on the official website and grouped by geographic area (Asti area, Monferrato, Langhe, Turin area, Upper Piedmont, and beyond). Each venue has its own profile with seating availability, contact details, and the style of bagna cauda on offer, identified by the famous taste traffic lights:

Red for the classic version, “as God intended”

Yellow for the “heretical” version, with softened garlic

Green for the “atheist” version, without garlic
You can also order the “Sporta a ca’”, a ready-to-go takeaway bagna cauda complete with all the vegetables. The reference price remains €30, with wine offered at €15 per bottle. Some venues also feature the “Bagna Sovrana” or the “Finale in Gloria”, enriched with truffle.
